Willie and JoLynn Carter have been married for 27 years and have three adult children and five grandkids. They both have a passion for sharing the truth of God’s word about family. The Carter’s have attended various conferences and workshops to equip themselves with the tools necessary to be able to minister to others couples about the divine order that God has for marriage. They are both committed to advancing the Kingdom of God one couple at a time. Needless to say, both are very dedicated and active in their church and in the community.
Brother Carter has been in the US Army for 29 years. During his career, he has received numerous awards and commendations — Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon and many others. He currently serves as the First Sergeant for the 73rd Civil Support Team in Topeka, Ks.
Sister Carter is the successful owner and operator of ‘The Apecuria Salon’ in Topeka, Kansas. Jolynn has enjoyed creating a thriving business and a very loyal clientele for over 25 years.
The Carters strongly believe and know that marriage is the foundation of the family, and the family is the foundation of society. Their beliefs stem from their mission: to foster the growth, healing, and oneness in marriage. Additionally, they also operate on the premise that when we strengthen marriage, we strengthen the family, we strengthen the children and we strengthen the community.
You may be wondering exactly what it take to actually strengthen a marriage — Willie and Jolynn stress being committed to marital relationships strengthened by faith, love, and harmony. Their mission is to foster the growth, healing, and oneness in marriage, and to strengthen the well-being of our society, churches and homes while nurturing the marriage relationship.
